So Luceti, recent events have led one to wonder... about faith. About religions and gods in your societies - maybe old legends you all have. After all, belief seems to be playing a strong part in this conflict we're finding ourselves in. Why how about it-
What gods do you know about? What faith do you have? What do you believe in?
After all, I can think offhand of hundreds of faiths with thousands of fake gods. I'm sure there's some to be found here as well. After all, it's a rainy day: I'm sure all of you have some time to answer this.

I'd like to think the people who helped me find closes the other day. It was really nice of you to help me get clothes and such. But after finding an apartment, this journal, and the guide I've got a question, actually.
Where does one go to get food here? All I can find seems to be making it yourself... and I don't think I can live off apples for my entire stay here. If there's nowhere to go, maybe I could ask someone to help me learn how to cook? ...I'd offer to pay you, but I don't think there's money here.
[For the record, there's info on Dan now to be found in this post. Normally I won't post with him twice in a row with him, but I felt it called for it to keep up the whole new feather thing]

[There seems to be a new person hanging around the center of town. His eyes are a bit wide and he's frowning... and he's wearing the new feather shorts thing suited for males. It's a younger boy, but he's looking to be around fifteen or so, which isn't that uncommon here. He's got red wings, but more notable is his left arm, which seems to be a stump at the elbow. It's not a bad stump though, it looks like the result of something that happened a long time ago.
This really isn't cool for him and he looks pretty lost. There's no journal next to him though so...]
...Where is this?
[...He's going to idly ask himself, as so many newcomers do.]

...Well that could have gone a lot better, all things considered. A lot worse, too, but I shouldn't have gotten and injury like this one. Almost makes me wish I had cells like Sor'jin, actually, it might make this whole thing easier.
Props to the guy that got our dear friend the General. A bullet through his brain didn't do much, but I think I wore him down a bit.
That reminds me... does anyone speak Russian here? The Liastrians would be ashamed of some of your work out there. I had to personally dispatch a lot of the soldiers you left there still alive.
[...Okay so "Sor'jin" was her call-word for Jacob. With that one, she's mostly seeing with John will catch it. The Russian is here trying to call ANI's creator. She doesn't really expect both of them to ping, but she has her hopes.

[This was going to be fun. Nina's all ready to go for a hike in the mountains: she's got her pistol hidden on her belt, several combat knives in her boots and other parts of her attire, a leather jumpsuit which should take a fair few blows... and her sword at her belt. Through in a little phanny-pack with emergency supplies and she's more than ready to go. Fortunately she has these sorts of things prepared at the time, and she was actually having her conversation with her "partner" from the meeting place in question.
Which is why she is more likely going to be there before him: waiting at the fountain plaza for the red-eyed, yellow-haired wonder. She couldn't quite recall this personality's name, but he was Emil in his normal form: she knew that much. This one was more sure of himself, more...
Well, he was going to fun. No need to even light up; she was going to get a good fix off him anyway. Continuing from here, that is.]

Well guys, how about another history lesson? Mind you, let's make it a bit more... fun this time. I'll ask for your opinion after the lesson.

You know a few years back - The Kotar Incident, or whatever they're calling it these days - I believe the official casualty count was 7.64 billion, give or take, counting civilians and soldiers. Individuals were horrified, families were sad, empires were outraged... but the Galaxy as a whole barely batted an eyelash. After all, what's that number out of the trillions in it?
...Heh. I've gotten too used to this dirtball.

[For anyone that still goes to the barracks from time to time to train, Nina is in there, mostly to try to occupy her mind for the time being. Right now she's got a small collection of various stab objects: nothing standard. Some kitchen knives, some forks, some scissors, some nails, medical knives, a syringe or three, you name it. She's doing some "target practice" with these improvised weapons, chucking them from some distance at the archery targets on the far wall.
Curiously, even with these things, she seems to be landing mostly bulls-eyes on the ones which do make it their intended targets. Some of them fall short however, obviously because of being awkward projectiles]

Cloud, I owe you a bullet lodged deep in your skull later.
Anyway, don't recent events just make you wonder about some things? Like where did all the adults go at times like this? Protect the children, and all that. Well then Luceti, here's a simple question:
How old are you?

Oh God, the rain, it's going to kill us all. I never would have seen it coming. Thank you for all of your timely warnings, I think you saved us all.
[Evil little laugh, and after that little bout of sarcasm is done...]
Farah, is my food done? Ms. Sage, you done being too busy?
And who wants to help me walk my dog?

Weather like this almost makes you wish that it got this warm back home. ...Or at least that it got this warm off of sunlight. Val'd love a day likethis if we had it off 'cus she'd be about to go swimming with Gil and Red. She'd swim any other day, of course, but she always did like the company of these two. We might have even been able to drag Yume in.
[There's a pause here... that was voice above, and his clicks off now in favor of her writing this next part]
Farah, I've got that recipe.
Also, who wants to give me a detailed report on 'summon spirits' as they know them on their planet and why they think they can't bring them here?

[That said if anyone has been or is looking for Nina she's holed up in Faize's repair shop doing work on taking apart the Malnosso-droid arm she ripped off a while back. She doesn't expect to learn a ton from it, but it might give an idea on how the wiring in them works and therefore what's the best method of killing them, so to speak]

So did anyone pick that arm up for me? I could really use it.
Also, servellion-boy. The one that owns the repair shop. I'll need some space there.

[Anyone want to take a guess what clinic patient is currently on the stairs outside the building? You guessed it! Everyone's favorite terrorist!
But she's not here all normal like: She's got bandages all down both of her arms as well as around both her knees and ankles. She's got some thick ones around her stomach area as well. As to clothes, she's got something that can barely be considered a top on (it exposes the midrift for one, which is a mass of bandages) and some shorts. She didn't think her usual attire was suited for now. As for what she's doing...

Do I get a welcome back party?
[You might notice splatters of (black) blood on the page, and feel free to mistake it for ink. Only a few people knows that the blood color of her real form is black anyway. Also, if you're in the forest or something and want to action into her, feel free. She's in her human form naked with a huge gaping wound in her stomach and another one down her left arm, which is a bit limp right now. She's making her way back towards town with a sick little grin on her face]

[Recorded here as the audio cuts in sounds like the tail end of a great battle. You can hear flames, rapid movement from at least three individuals, and sparks flying. There's a wry laugh from Nina and then another blitz of melee combat ending with the sound of something metallic being ripped off through a sword. And then there's the sickening crunch of her being slammed into a tree, and some blood slappers all over the page of the journal which is pointing up at the sky otherwise. There's a grunt, but then a laugh. It starts as a chuckle but then becomes a fully-blown hysterical and terrible laughter of someone in ecstasy]
Come on! [And then there's the sound of her reaching out and grabbing the head of her attacker and metal melting. She gets a loud shock there and you can hear her screaming in something between pain and ecstasy... but it cuts off with an explosion and the sound of a few trees falling, most notably one of them on top of the journal. It still records (muffled) after that of a bit more combat, but it ends with the sound of someone's guts being cut into followed by another shock. There's then the sound of some rapid movement, but those with better hearing might hear Nina yell (through a strangled voice) as she's taken away--]
An hour's walk north of the barracks! [And then the last thing heard before it cuts off is her laughing into the distance]
["Action"]
[With Eggs's permission for this, Nina's kidnapping has produced some "property damage" as well as given some unseen developments. Like see said, roughly an hour north of the barracks there's a new-found clearing in the forest about 12x12 feet in which everything seems to be burning, exploded, or somehow damaged. There's a lot of snapped parts of trees snapped or cut into with a sword. As to Nina's sword? The black-steel-looking blade is lodged in the ground and she'd appreciate someone picking that up. She small pistol (very small) is also on the ground, but a tree's fallen on it so it probably won't work now.
More importantly, however, the droids were so desperate to get her away, there's bits of pieces of them all over the place. There's parts of their heads, shoulders, legs, a bunch of wires and other pieces, but most notably there is an entire arm laying on the ground near her sword. Someone do go pick all that up]

The once was a boy that grew up on the wrong side of the planet -- well, city, tracks, whatever you want. Growing up, he had a single parent who could barely support him and his other three siblings had all long since gotten involved in gangs and drugs and who knows what else. The boy's name was Tim and his elder siblings were John, Charles, and Allie.
